Date: 7-5-04 Medium: gouache I've never painted from life before. But there wasn't anything in the house that I wanted to draw, so I took my supplies, went outside and painted the trees around my house. Took about 3 hours. It was tough, I'm not used to doing trees and a few times I realized I was using the wrong base color and had to try something else. After a lot of guess and test, I think it turned out pretty swell. It's not finished though; by the time I got to the foreground I was tired and in pain and really didn't feel like finishing the ground. :P So the ground's ugly, whee~.
