In any case, I think I could have used a different skin tone for the girl, she blends in with the lion too much, but overall I think this turned out really well considering I never give my characters scenery. The concept itself is from an idea that's been floating around in my head, but I won't go into detail about that. Oh! And the lion was done without a reference. The mane is deliberately different from the typical African lion's, but as for the head, if there's anything wrong with it it's because I didn't reference anything.
